Yves Rocher Rouge Vertige Lipstick Review

This spring 2017, Yves Rocher is changing up their entire lipstick collection. Instead of having lipsticks with different names and different packaging, they will all be rebranded into the Rouge Vertige line. The only difference will be their finish: Satin, Shine and Pearly. I received one shade from each finish to show you guys, so let's check them out together!

The new line offers an impressive choice of 54 colors, from delicate nudes, vibrant pinks and corals to bold red. It will make it so much easier to find the perfect lipstick you're looking for. The sleeves of the lipsticks are made of deep purple and look very sleek and elegant. On the bottom of the lipsticks you can read the name of the color.

From left to right: 75 Pearly, 09 Brilliant Shine, and 42 Satin.

09 Brilliant Shine - Similar to Yves Rocher's traditional cherry oil lipsticks: a moisturizing, sheer lipbalm with a soft touch of pigment. Super easy to put on your lips without having to be precise about it.

75 Pearly - I generally don't reach for these types of frosty finish lipsticks, it can look very 80s and I feel like that doesn't suit me. The color however looks fresh, youthful and fun. The pigmentation is opaque with just one swipe.

42 Satin - A beautiful deep berry colored tint that instantly became my favorite. The color is less pigmented than I expected: it's still on the sheer side rather than the deep burgundy-berry you would expect when looking at the lipstick. The lipstick glides on your lips and leaves a beautiful semi-shiny finish.

The Rouge lipsticks apply evenly and feel really comfortable on my lips. The color can be build to your own desire. The lasting power of the lipsticks is moderate, because of its glossy formula you have to regularly do a touch up after a snack or a drink. The darkest of the three shades, Satin, is my personal favorite.

The Rouge Vertige Lipsticks are available in  Yves Rocher stores and online at www.yves-rocher.nl for € 15.90. (And currently there is a discount which makes them only € 7.95!)
