Cocoa Brown One Hour Tan Mousse Review

It's supposed to be summer in Europe but it looks like it's still February, time to bring some summer glow to my skin myself! The idea behind this cute pink can is that it develops a beautiful tan within a minimum of 1 hour. This means that you don’t need to sleep with the tan - which is probably the biggest reasons why I normally don’t use it very often - so that sounds great!

The mousse comes out as a fluffy khaki-toned blob that spreads out easily but dries down rather quickly, so I would recommend working in smaller sections. It gives an instant olive tan to the skin that is meant as a guide color to help you apply the tan evenly and not miss any spots on your body. When the tan sets on the skin it doesn't transfer or rub off which means no worries about getting the fake tan on your clothes or your bedsheets.

Since it was my first time using Cocoa Brown, I only kept the tan on my skin for an hour. 1 hour gives you a sun kissed look, 2 hours gives you a nice bronzed effect and 3 hours gives you a strong brown color. When I stepped out of the shower I was left with a pretty warm glow, no streaks, no dark patches, overall very natural looking color and exactly what I was hoping for. My biggest fears were that I would get streaks or an oompa loompa orange tan color, but thankfully neither happened. The tan lasts for a good five days before you need to re-apply.

If you are also looking for a little sunshine I would really recommend trying this tan mousse. Cocoa Brown Tans retail at €11.27 for a 150ml bottle. Worldwide shipping on the Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter range is available from FeelUnique, Cloud10Beauty.com and Amazon.com
